Our wedding day was like a dream come true
for both of us. It could not have been more beautiful and perfect,
even with the rainy weather. Justin and I both said if we could
go back and change anything, there would not be anything we
would want to change.
The clouds and rain that arrived for
our wedding day were like our little blessing from above. They
never took away from our beautiful ceremony, nor did they take
away from the amazing photographs that captured our day forever.
Mikael is a complete genius.
I ended up purchasing all of the
shots that he had taken on our wedding day, because I could
not even begin to choose only some of them. They were all magical.
He captured every moment, every emotion, and every sentiment
of the ceremony. And the photographs taken in the old ruins
on Pigeon Island were absolutely enchanted.
Mikael took my
fairy tale image, and turned it into a reality in his photographs.
We are so grateful that he was present at our wedding, to be
able to capture our very special day. We will always have these
photographs to look back on. There truly are not words enough
to describe the gratitude we feel towards Mikael for preserving
our very special wedding memories forever.

When my fiancee and I decided to get married on St. Lucia, we were both horrified at the prices our resort wanted to charge us to use their photographer. We investigated other options and were so lucky to find Mikeal Lamber with Evisions. He was so helpful as we began to correspond via e-mail with ideas for locations to shoot our pictures.
The day arrived when Mikeal was to pick us up and take us to our photo shoot. When he didn’t arrive for a half hour, I started to get worried. Amazingly, we had told both our photographer and our resort the wrong day we wanted our pictures on. Mikeal and his wife dropped everything and rushed to our aid, even though we had told them to get us on the wrong day. They were incredible. They were unflappable even as we realized our huge gaffe. Upon arrival at the site for the shoot, we were just blown away by the sheer beauty of the location. Everything was exactly what we dreamt it would be.
We have recently had the chance to view our pictures and they were exactly what we thought they would be. Each one shot beautifully and individually incredible. It’s a very good thing we found Mikeal, as the one free picture our resort offered turned out to be shady and not very good. We would recommend Mikeal and Evisions to anyone in a heartbeat.

We did a double wedding in April of 2008 on the island of St. Lucia. Mikael and his wife Julie were our photographers and from the minute we stepped out of the car onto the beach, they were snapping pictures from all angles. They captured every detail of the ceremony. Then, after the ceremony they took us to various parts of the location and took some amazing posed photos. Before we left, more candid and casual shots. I was impressed with the amount of shots, but also want to emphasize the variety and quality of shots. I loved the fact that many of the photos were in both black & white, color and sometimes an interesting mix of color & sepia. While we did not specify what we wanted, it seemed like they knew.
Once we were sent the pictures to view, we were amazed at how fabulous they were. I was absolutely blown away!!! I have passed along the website for many friends and family to view and I have received so many compliments on the photos.
I would highly recommend Mikael and in fact, have told several
of my friends to get his information from me if they ever decide
to do a Caribbean wedding. Thanks to Mikael and his wife for
making our important day so perfect!

Steve and I were married on April 24th,2008. It was very important for him to have a photographer that would put him at ease and not make him feel anxious. We chose Mikael after a recommendation from our wedding planner and reading the testimonials on his webpage and on TripAdvisor, many suggesting that he would be the right person to make our wedding day special.
As it turns out, Mikael was everything and more than we ever hoped for or dared to imagine. We had so much fun every step of the way and he captured every moment with an exquisite eye for detail—not once making us feel self-conscious or inhibited (as many of our ‘special’ poses demonstrate!). Our only complaint was that with him, we smiled so much, so naturally, that our cheeks seriously hurt after 100’s of photos!
We’ve only been able to view our photos for a single day, and I’ve already looked through them more than a dozen times and without a second thought purchased them all. Mikael and Julie could not have performed a more professional, beautiful job. They were given a tough task, as the sun was setting right behind us during our entire wedding ceremony, but none of their pictures turned out to be overexposed, and, instead, the lighting in their pictures was absolutely perfect. They successfully captured every moment of our day. And they were never imposing; we were never aware of where they were standing, or that our lives were constantly being documented by their talented, artistic eyes. We could tell from Mikael's website that there was something very special about his photographs, but it's always a little nerve wracking to trust someone whom you've never met, especially when documenting your special day. With Mikael and Julie, there is not one photo we wish they hadn't taken, not one that isn't perfect. We have no idea how we're going to make an album with so many fantastic pictures! Our only wish would be that we could hire Mikael and Julie to photograph the rest of our lives!

Mikael and Julie are amazing photographers. Every time we look at the enormous volume of pictures they captured is like being in St. Lucia and getting married once more; but this time without the wedding anxiety and actually having time to reflect on the wonderful event. The first time I went through the pictures it brought tears to my eyes. They captured all the touching moments, the love and passion of the day and down to all the fine details. Beyond capturing the traditional moments, they were true journalistic photographers capturing instances that I wasn't even aware they were there. Mikael is a one of a kind photographer. We loved how he focussed more on candid shots and not so much on the “say cheese” formal poses. Mikael is a truly gifted photographer. We specifically requested him as our wedding photographer after viewing his previous wedding photos on our coordinator’s web site. They stood out as unique because they captured the emotions of the subjects so well and the photos never seemed unnatural or overly posed.
At our wedding ceremony and reception, he always managed to capture the funny and special moments without us even realizing he was there. We were allowed to just be ourselves and that made the pictures even more true-to-life. Because he knew our wedding location so well, he made suggestions about locations for the group photos following the ceremony. Then he walked the two of us around the island to get a variety of background scenery and to make sure we caught the sunset on the beach. At the reception, he photographed the traditional moments like the first dance and toasts beautifully, but having all the additional spontaneous photos of our guests mingling and dancing (without realizing they were being photographed) helps bring back memories of the entire event.
We were looking forward to seeing the photos and I can honestly say (although I may be a little biased) that I’ve never seen wedding photos so beautiful. They turned out so much better than I could have imagined. I remember hoping that he had taken a photo of the few seconds I managed not to cry on my way down the aisle and when we got the picture back…there it was just as I had hoped! He exceeded our expectations and we are thrilled with the results. And because we couldn’t narrow down the hundreds of photos to our favorites, we ended up buying all of them!

We had never met Mikael prior to our wedding, but we are astonished by how beautiful his pictures turned out! Every moment was captured, true to life. As we viewed our photo CD on our honeymoon (yes, we got our photos within a WEEK of the wedding!) it brought tears to our eyes. The pictures are phenomenal. We received an array of photos ranging from full color, to black and white, to special effects copies, such as black and white with colored flowers! Many times when we look through our photos it is hard to believe that it is US in them!
Mikael was wonderful throughout the wedding and afterwards. During the ceremony he was discreet as he took beautiful photos of the entire proceeding (in fact, I never noticed he was there!). After the ceremony he took many wonderful “action shots” and directed us in a few poses. We had great fun working with Mikael after the ceremony as he gave us the opportunity to show our love for one another and to just enjoy the moment.
